About me
I am Mary Sesay, a dedicated and highly organized administrative and finance professional with over five years of experience supporting operational, financial, and field-based activities within nonprofit and community development organizations in Sierra Leone. I have developed a strong track record of managing administrative systems, handling cashier responsibilities, supporting financial reporting, coordinating logistics, and maintaining accurate documentation for both office and field operations.
I began her career with AWEN Sierra Leone, where I provided administrative and finance support, managed petty cash, updated financial records, and ensured efficient office operations. I expanded my experience with Moama Cooperative as an Admin/Finance Officer, where I strengthened my skills in bookkeeping, procurement support, inventory management, and staff coordination. My ability to uphold financial accountability and deliver timely reports earned my recognition as a reliable contributor to organizational performance.
Currently serving as an Agroforestry Field Officer with GOLA Rainforest Conservation—Kenema Office, I support community engagement, field data collection, agroforestry training, and sustainable land management initiatives. My unique combination of administrative expertise and field-based project experience positions me as a versatile professional who can manage both office responsibilities and community-level activities effectively in Malema Chiefdom, Kailahun district, eastern Sierra Leone.
