Graduate Trainee/Field Agent
• Participate in the organization and strengthening of small business enterprises, Farmer Field Schools, Producer Organization, Marketing Associations, Agro-processing Associations and providing support in business development.
• Build on WVSL’s work on public-private alliance and the identification of potential business links.
• Participate in community mobilization of the PAGE interventions in the field to strengthen local governance, natural resource management and increased agricultural opportunities especially for women and youths.
• Maintain information on the performance of small business enterprises, Marketing Associations and WVSL’s facilitated Limited Liability Companies, local and regional markets.
• Develop links to finance for small business and agribusiness enterprises
• Work with other WVSL ministry areas to link increases in productivity to growth opportunities.
• Proactively ensure that gender equity issues are taken into account in all aspects of WVSL’s work
• Support community capacity building through training and mentoring.
• Regular reporting and update on PAGE interventions in selected communities.

Livelihood Officer
• To support Sierra Rutile Limited (SRL) on all Livelihood planning and implementation activities as related to communities affected by resettlement
• Work with households and communities whose livelihood is impacted adversely
• Develop and deliver programs that meets GoSL Statutory and Regulatory requirements as well as aligning with IFC Performance Standard 5
• Monitoring and evaluation of all livelihood activities and programmes
• Contribute to any Resettlement Action Plans and policy formulation.

Community Relations Officer
• Primary duty is to build and maintain relationships with key local stakeholders across ATS operational areas in Sierra Leone (Sierra Rutile project in Bonthe and Moyamba districts, Africa Minerals Tonkolili & Pepel projects, & London Mining Lunsar/Maram project)
• Coordinate, organize and head the community relations department’s efforts to represent ATS favourably in the community.
• Provide training on ATS Corporate Social Responsibility policy which is imbedded in the Community Engagement Activity Programme (CEA Programme) for both local and expat staff;
• Develop and implement community relations systems and plan programs that promote goodwill and foster relationships with community leaders, local stakeholders and villagers across ATS operational areas in Sierra Leone.
• Plan, schedule and carry out economic development program activities including initial planning, feasibility determination, community involvement and acceptance, and implementation with project timetables.
• Develop and implement strategies to assist with business growth and expansion for local communities.
• Support community capacity building through training and mentoring; organize and strengthen small business enterprises and provide support in business development and management;
• Write regular reports and newsletters on community engagement activities undertaken by company within its operations.
