Erectile Dysfunction Medicines Seized In Glengormley

Erectile dysfunction medications seized in Glengormley

8 April 2011

Large quantities of unlicensed medications have been seized by Department of Health authorities during a search of a house in Glengormley.

A man was interviewed by department officers about illegally importing and consequently providing unlicensed impotence medications through the web.

The 47-year-old was also questioned about other medication offenses.

He will now be the subject of a report to the general public Prosecution Service.

The search was performed by the department’s Medicines Regulatory Group.

Its senior enforcement workplace, Peter Moore, stated: “It is vital that we get the message across that unlicensed medicines can be harmful.

“These types of products being offered, generally online, have gone through no quality assurance and there can be no about their safety.

“You just do not know what you are taking or the conditions these items were made in. More notably, you do not know the impact drugs like this may have on your health.”
